New, rename, close, navigate
Tabs are separate panel arrangements inside the same session, shown along the top by the tab bar. Use them the way you'd use tabs in an editor: one per task or per concern. Tab mode is Ctrl t, and like Pane mode, the action keys drop you back to Normal so you keep moving.
Two Alt shortcuts rearrange tabs without entering a mode: Alt i moves the current tab left, Alt o moves it right. Handy when your tab order stopped matching how you think about the work.
